Stuff about ...The Space Cadet

Jacqui Jursek has been doing both residential and commercial design for over two decades in the Metrowest Boston area.  She attended The Boston Architectural Center and is skilled in Architectural Drafting, Space Planning and Interior Design.  As a Kitchen and Bathroom Designer for many years, she was Senior Project Manager and Head of Sales, designing with up-scale, high end custom cabinetry. She worked at CSY Design, where she was Vice President and Project Manager; responsibilities included  designing and space planning  System's Furniture for major companies, and managing relocations for hundreds of people.  CSY designed mostly corporate office space, specializing in high end Herman Miller Office Systems.

Loving all things beautiful both inside and out, she has been employed with some very well-known garden centers in Massachusetts, and is now well versed in trees, shrubbery and perennials.  Because of her design background, landscape design came naturally when coupled with her horticultural knowledge, and now lends itself perfectly to extending these services for "Curb Appeal".

She is on the Board of Director's, and acting Vice President, for Holliston's Community Theater Company, The Washington Street Players, and has been set designer for a countless number of shows.  Staging a set, and staging a room for resale have similar requirements; they both are designed with an absolute purpose -- to wow an audience and to fulfill a deliberate function.

will she ever shut up?

"All my life I have gone into strange  places ( like the dentist office) and adjusted paintings and pictures when no one was looking,  kicked certain pieces into place pretending they were in my way,  and left color swatches on kitchen tables as helpful hints and reminders of hopeful possibilities.  It was just a matter of time when I would use this innate ability and make a business out of it.  You know the saying... choose a job that you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life?  Well I feel blessed doing something that I really enjoy, that comes so naturally, and offers something that makes people truly feel wonderful about who they are and how comfortable they  choose to live.  So, thank you for the job..."
